The Student Social Mobility Awards are organised by upReach to recognise students who have excelled in their studies and beyond, and shown great potential as they launch their careers. Our focus is on students who have demonstrated great resilience, determination or initiative, or boosted their employability in innovative ways. We aim to showcase up-and-coming talent and identify those rising stars to watch in the years to come. There are also awards for those that have championed social mobility and enabled others to succeed, including student, teacher, mentor, employer and university categories.

A Student Vote helped to determine the winners of selected Awards. The four categories voted on were the Outstanding Achievement Award, Biggest Champion of Social Mobility, Best Employer Initiative and Best University Initiative. The independent Judging Panel selected the winners of the other Awards, and the shortlists for the Outstanding Achievement Award and Biggest Champion of Social Mobility. All UK students were eligible to vote and can vote only once.
